@Ex_JWs Brazil That is incredible. I remember in the meetings I'd see people turn on something called "AirDrop" on their iPads. Instantly, you'll see a list of other iPads being used in that hall (eg: Carly's iPad, Barry's iPad, etc). This AirDrop feature apparently enables iPad users to wirelessly transmit files to one another from across the hall, if I understand it correctly. Why not rename yours to something like @Ex_JWs Brazil's suggestion and start wirelessly sending apostate material to any other iPads that appear on your AirDrop list? Maybe save some of the many PDFs on waking up Jehovah's Witnesses and use that as your go-to file? I don't think anyone can physically trace it back to your tablet!

Here's the good news, @nonjwspouse: Your husband hasn't morphed into Stephen Lett with his reading style.
The tricky news is, not even he knows where he's up to with his indoctrination. When the rest of us were mind controlled, we could have sworn to you up and down that our thoughts were our own. The tangled psychological web of Watchtower indoctrination has so many layers.
Where is he up to with things that you have been able to observe? Eg: does he allow himself to view "apostate material"?

@stuckinarut2 Hmmmm. We hate it when JWs use funerals as an opportunity to proselytize and recruit. Let's try not to take advantage of a wedding by doing the same for the dark side. In my opinion, just as funerals are no place for guileful witnessing, so should weddings not be a place for passive aggressive apostatizing. The occasion is strictly about the celebration of the person/couple in question :).
My only advice: Don't get drunk and belt the speech out like it's open mic night. That's not just for the Witnesses present, but something that might be appreciated by both the bride and the groom. A lucid, eloquent speech about your love for them beats a fraternity ramble about the boys, boys, boys.
Also, force of habit may see you resisting the urge to raise your glass in a manner that denotes a toast as you conclude your speech. There may be a chance that you COULD get away with the raised glass gesture, but try not to verbally instruct the audience to do so in like manner. Hopefully the unconscious act of mirroring will see the non-JWs raise their glasses in response.

so, i wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas on how too pass the time (i cant just try and listen i fall will asleep and i cant let that happen).. (only got a few weeks before i have to go its going too kill me but i got too do it).

Should it be considered sexual harassment?
by Addison0998 inon thing that really makes me angry and disgusted is when i think of the way in the past that the elders pressured me over and over again to have a meeting with them over a petty make out and petting incident.
they asked such instrusive, personal questions like, “did he touch your breast, for how long?
under or over your clothes?” i know that this happens to thousands of people, especially young women, and it’s just not right, it makes me so angry that i almost feel tempted to confront the elder who especially did this, when i see him at the convention in a few weeks and tell him what a sick person he is and how much trauma he caused me, manipulating me and pressuring me to answer such instrusive questions while he sat there and took notes!!
